liquid from flower stems dripping
all over my birch wood. traveling
down a brick road, somewhat silky
and abandoned. yellow buds sprout
majestic towards the universe and my back mimics,
arching with one touch from your petal. trickling,
hovering above my lips -musk
escapes to gently
coat the tip of your tongue.
this scent i will always remember as you
fall asleep on my chest, breathing yours
into mine.
collide for as long as i have life.
